Vanquish  Me uses the latest RF technology in an adjustable panel that hovers over the targeted area of unwanted fat. The energy passes easily through the skin and collects in the fat causing it to heat up. The energy collection within the fat causes thermal damage of the adipocytes (fat cells), leading to a natural, controlled form of cell death termed “apoptosis.” The elimination of fat cells leads to a decreased thickness of the fat layer in the area treated with Vanquish Me.

Who is a good candidate for Vanquish ME?

Healthy adults that have areas of fat (not obese) that are resistent to exercise and diet. The best candidates are already somewhat  physically active and adhere to a healthy diet.

What is radiofrequency?

Radiofrequency is a special form of electricity. Radiofrequency is used extensively in dermatology and cosmetic surgery to target certain layers of the skin to help with skin tightening, collagen regeneration, and now deep tissue heating and fat elimination.

Treatment with Vanquish is intended to “Address Your Core” but there is more!  The treatment panel fits over the abdomen plus flanks to reduce the size of the abdomen and love handles (flanks). There is a mild, gentle warming sensation during Vanquish ME sessions  that is similar to having a heating pad placed in the area of treatment. Vanquish ME is not painful, and our skilled estheticians measure the patient’s comfort level during Vanquish treatments.

How do I prepare for Vanquish ME Body Contouring Session?

First, remove all metal jewelry from the treatment area. In the 1-2 days prior to treatment, patients are requested to stay well hydrated. Patients should continue to drink appropriate amounts of water throughout the treatment day and even the day after. Water helps to hydrate the skin. This allows the radiofrequency energy from Vanquish ME to travel easily through the skin and makes the treatments more effective. Patients should avoid dehydrating activities in the couple of days prior to treatment. This would include high-intensity, high-perspiration activities such as extensive aerobics, physical training, or hot yoga. Patients should also avoid excessive alcohol intake prior to Vanquish as this can have a dehydrating effect on the body.
